However, you may not have noticed that macOS also allows you to record FaceTime call right on your Mac with the help of QuickTime Player.
In this step-by-step guide, we will walk you through the steps to record FaceTime call on your iPhone and Mac without the need of any third-party apps to be installed on your device. Steps to record FaceTime call on your iPhone using Mac
Step one: First off, you need to connect your iPhone to your Mac using Lighting cable and launch QuickTime on your Mac
Step two: Next up, click on File at the top and select New Movie Recording from the drop-down menu
Step three: You are now supposed to click on the tiny arrow button next to the record button, select your iPhone under Cameras section and click your iPhone again under Microphone section
Step four: Unlock your iPhone and you will then see your iPhone’s screen on your Mac. Once you are done, launch FaceTime on your iPhone and hit the record button in QuickTime on your Mac
Step five: Next up, click on the Stop button and save your recorded call

Step one: First off, you need to launch QuickTime on your Mac, click on File and select New Screen Recording to proceed
Step two: Next up, click on the arrow button next to the record button and select Internal Microphone from the drop-down menu
Step three: Once you are done, launch FaceTime from the dock. After that, click the record button in the QuickTime and click on the screen to record the whole screen
Step four: Click on the Stop button and save your FaceTime call.
